GPU Ain'T detected, while fans are spinning

Hi, 

 

I already made topic that some of guys answered, but wrongfully. As I stated in that topic, gpu is not detected and they were writing about downloading drivers. While Gpu is not detected, and fans are spinning. IMG_6640.thumb.png.41d43079557ef9365a3530a35438790e.png

Fans spinning doesn't really mean anything. That just tells you the card (or some parts of it) are receiving power. The card could still be broken. It's like saying my car doesn't drive, even though its lights turn on. Doesn't mean the engine is fine.

 

Other than checking with CPU-Z, make sure the card is fully seated in the slot. Make sure all of its power cables are properly connected. Maybe see if it works in another machine. But otherwise, there's a chance the card may be broken.

If, per your previous post, it doesn’t work in either machine or even register in bios it’s most likely dead.
