Gaming PC/IT Work (Expert Builder's Help Me)

Budget (including currency): $5000

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Future Proofing for High-End Gaming. Then being able to do any type of work related to coding, video editing, etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I've been collaborating with people who all have high-end nice builds. This is currently where I stand as a recommendation. I'm planning on going to micro center to buy all the parts. Unless online purchases are worth it. Which I need help with. This is the current build I have in PC part picker and monitor recommendation. Please be willing to help critique what I currently have to the max. As I am trying to get the best bang for buck possible.

You see the version within the video itself without all of the fancy fans etc. That's what I'm more focused on. I would rather max performance. Looks are not a priority for me personally.

Can i recommend a different monitor the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 34" UltraWide QHD 175Hz.

  • It's half the price on sale, happens often.
  • It's more reasonably sized equivalent to 27" in height. Which is the defacto for gaming.
  • 1440p. You'll get higher frames.
  • 21:9. The wider field of view provides a more immersive and cinematic viewing experience, many games have ultrawide support or mods for it.
  • My Use Case. 32" is too large for competitive FPS, too much screen real estate. I found my eyes were doing gymnastics moving around and an over-immersive experience, similar to driving too fast and not been able to concentrate. You're just soo close to the screen at a desk. Other use-cases. Yes a 32" makes sense but you stated gaming-first.

I'd rather not have an ultra wide personally. What are some of the top Samsung monitors that are not wide. For me competitive gaming is a top focus. Well also enjoying my experience. If 4k is an option. I'd love to know
