Good budget 27" monitors?

Voidseeker

I'm looking at getting a new monitor to replace my current one (Asus VG248QE) and I want a 1080P 27" at least 144Hz monitor and I have a budget of $200. I've looked at the Acer Nitro and the MSI G27C4X but want to know if there are others. I want 1080P and not 1440P is because I'm only running a Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX6600 8GB.

I run a 3440x1440 ultrawide on an RX6600 for AAA titles. Its 2024, upscaling is a thing in essentially any game. Your budget is well into entry level 144-180Hz 1440p monitor territory and I can tell you now, there is nothing worth buying that's both 1080p and 27", max 24". That res and size is like 32" 1440p, no one puts any effort into it as its just not a good combination and enthusiasts know this. If you want 1080p, you buy a 23"-24". If you want 1440p, you buy 27".

Would be crazy, to me, to give up that desktop real estate and buy 1080p in 2024.

That all being said, if this is something you must have, I'd limit it to IPS panels as cheap VA's are generally crap.

You're not going to find most of these on rtings, if any of them (I only checked a few). AOC 27G2Z is 240Hz and under budget, might be worth a look.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2

Ryzen 7 5800x - XFX RX6600 - Asus STRIX B550i - 32GB DDR4-3200CL14 - Corsair SF750 - Lian Li O11 Mini - EK 360 AIO - Asus PG348Q

I know AOC but have never used them. I'll do some research into it and thanks.

Have a look at this review. It'd be insane to ignore monitors like this when shopping around $200.

If you can't hit the required performance, use FSR on it's quality preset, which basically offers 1080p levels of FPS, but with the advantages of 1440p.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

That also looks pretty good. Thanks.
