Request for Pictures of PC Setup with Case on Left and Monitor on Right on a Small Desk.

Hey everyone, does anyone have a setup with the PC case on the left side of a small desk and the monitor on the right? If so, could you share some pictures, especially showing how you've managed the cables?

Thanks!

Uh, the same as a PC on the right... but mirrored... I have to assume you're not actually asking for how cable management differs when a computer is on the left to a computer on the right? Because there is no difference.

If this just asking for general cable management tips? Because the PC being on the left makes zero difference.

The majority of people tend to put the PC on the right because they will be able to see through the glass side panel that way.

I don't see why cable management would be any different with the computer on one side versus the other, though. Of course, the location of the power everything has to be plugged in to makes a big difference. Can you elaborate on your question a little?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Actually those cables look messy to me now, even after managing those cables. So I was wondering if someone did better than me and if I could take some ideas from them.

Take a look, I placed the casing like this at the left side of the desk because it makes more sense to me. But I'm not happy about those hanging cables you can see in the picture at the left side of the cabinet.

Cable management is all about cable ties, routing, and creativity.

Generally the solution is more cable ties. Bundle wires with more ties than you think you need and hide any extra cable length. The underside and rear of the desk is your friend for hiding cables.

Best of luck.

This isn't really a matter of left side of the desk versus right side of the desk. The thing is that you've got the PC turned "sideways" (I presume for space reasons). That means you're always going to see the cables coming out of the back more than people who have the PC turned so the back is facing away from them.

You could use velcro ties/zip ties/twist ties to gather all of the cables coming out of the back into a single bundle and make them somewhat less unsightly. But the reality is you're always going to be seeing more cable this way.

Cant believe someone didnt metnion yet, but there might be already some on the forum.

Almost 1000 posts wont be easy, but you could just check the pictures.
This is where most people post their computer/desk setup.
