I've used both on my 7950X3D 🙂 , both are fine, the TR PA120 is cheap af for the performance, but the AF3 is as well, and it's better, it's a 360 AIO that can cool a 14900K hellish furnace 😄

The Arctic Liquid Freezer III is the better performer, while the Thermalright Peerless Assassin is the better value.

Thermalright Peerless Assassin. Even though it's not as good as the LF3, it's 1/3 the price and the 7800X3D is very easy to cool anyway (you can keep this chip cool with a Wraith Prism) so the extra performance doesn't really help.

For the money, Peerless Assassin and its siblings are great. The LF3 is one of the top AIOs for AMD. Either is more than enough, and you can choose from a very long list of other coolers. That is an easy CPU to cool.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
