Ryzen cpu (battery life) laptop

Which not so recent ryzen cpus are great on battery life but powerful enough to edit videos?

 

Looking for 14 inch laptop 15 if not much selection of 14, see so many ryzen cpus but I've only owned intel, not this time, so I don't have a clue.  I'm not looking for anything recently released or expensive.  I like the galaxy books since I have a Samsung phone.  But looking for info on which ryzen cpus I should look for and which I should avoid.

Working mostly on my lap, not looking for killer battery life under normal load, 6-7hrs is good enough

Anything ending with U is for power efficiency but will handle some video editing just fine. 

Ending with HS will boost higher under full load at higher power. 

 

Beware of the 3rd digit in the name. 

 

Something like 7720U for example is just old Zen2. Even if it's like 8620HS it's still Zen2. 

 

You need 4th or 5th Gen Zen so 3rd digit should be 4 or 5 like 7540U for example. 

 

Not sure how naming works on the very newest models with the better graphics though, it has changed.

Is the 3rd digit just for 7xxx and 8xxx? 

 

Found a lenovo laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U googled it says 3rd gen.

 

Is 7x 4th era zen and 8x is 5th zen era? i am so confused LMAO
