Did I get a bad deal when i built this PC 2 years ago?

So I built my current PC in around july 2022 with the following spec:
CPU - i5 12600KF
COOLING - COOLER MASTER MA410M
RAM -  16GB DDR4 3200MHz
MOBO - ASUS PRIME B660M-K MATX
2X WDBLUE 1TB NVME SSD
GPU - RTX 3070
PSU - NZXT C750M-UK
CASE - AEROCOOL ATOMIC ARGB

this entire PC cost me around £1259.42 in the UK, (around $1500 USD)
I remember the GPU cost over half of this build cus there were so few available and i should point out all these were brand new parts.
Did I get ripped off and if i wanna build a new system with the same price would is it any better performance wise?

What is the point of making that comparison? 2 years is much too long a time in PC hardware.

You have a good PC that can play any game, so long as you're happy with the performance then it is all good.

Prices 2 years ago were inflated heavily so you got exactly what the market demanded

Least you didn't pay 1400$ for a 6800xt like I did

two years ago GPU Prices were still high after COVID.

You didn't get a bargain, but you didn't get ripped off either.

Mid 2022 16gb RAM was already aging in the tooth, other than that it doesn't look too bad. You could always upgrade that for cheap anyway.

Well yeah? Time moves on new stuff comes out so obviously for the same budget you'd normally get better stuff. You also bought the rig at a time where prices were inflated due to covid and one of the gpu mining crazes. So if we look at 2022 you did not overpay really. The only missed part really would be 16gb of ram but thats it. Easy SUPER CHEAP upgrade now.

I also wouldn't have gotten that cpu cooler as it's pretty mediocre and back then an ak620 would have been the same price but hey it's good enough for the 12600K.

So no in 2022 you did not overpay.

Why are you suddenly worrying about this? Do you want to upgrade something or?
