What board are you using?

Are you using the CORRECT backplate and screws?

The h100i is a very old aio and has seen multiple updates. It may be you have incompatible hardware if you have a older revision

Update: I ended up doing it

Thank you for your help man. 🙏

My screws won't fit into my backplate when im trying to connect the pump. I have checked that everything else is compatible including the screws im meant to fit in at the time of buying, I'm just kind of stuck now dispite the fact ive followed the manual and countless yt vids online. Can anyone help?

At the moment I'm using a A520M-C.

Yeah I've followed tutorials online and even followed the manual but it just ain't fitting. (Like it fits but it kinda just dangles around and thus I cannot fit the pump on)

Yeah I've heard, But I bought it new off amazon so I'm pretty sure it's new and according to my research its compatible so i doubt its because its a old version. That's why I'm baffled haha
