Building a my first PC | Just want advice on the parts I've chosen

Go to solution Solved by SpecTre12345,

I would go with Zen 5, TBH. I would also replace the PSU with something in Tier A or B on the cultist list.

Besides that looks purdy good.

You might also want to downgrade the cooler to put more budget into the dGPU. With a dual or single tower cooler instead: you can probably get a 7900 GRE.

Budget (including currency): $2200-2400 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Red Dead Redemption 2, Black Myth Wukong, 2K, Tekken. Primarily for gaming

Other details Current Part List:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600X
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 7700XT

Motherboard: ASRock B650 PG LIGHTNING ATX AM5 Motherboard

Memory: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken Elite 280 RGB (Overkill but looks great)
Storage: Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
PSU: KOLINK Regulator 850 W Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Case: NZXT H6 Flow ATX Mid Tower Case
Total: $2235.26 AUD

No Peripherals Needed, Thanks in advance
Planning to upgrade to 1440p in the future, just trying to play the latest games at 60+ fps

Thanks for your advice.

Would you say ryzen 5 9600X and a phanteks 850W Amp is a good choice along with downgrading the cooler
