My m.2 heatsink screw is stuck

Go to solution Solved by Needfuldoer,

It's probably cross-threaded.

Try stretching a rubber band over the tip of the next size up Philips screwdriver, and pushing that down a little harder while you try to unscrew the screw.

I just got my gigabyte B550 elite AX V2 today, I've got everything working except that I can't put my second SSD in, that's because the m.2 heatsink is just stuck. I can't tell if it's compleatly screwed. I've tried one full sized Philips screwdriver and 2 of the exact same watchmaker Philips screwdrivers they all didn't do anything. Any help or advice is appreciated.

I ended up using a larger screwdriver and it worked, thanks!
