SSD shows up as offline and i can't set it to online

TheJulez

Hi everyone!

I just got a new ssd which is now my new boot drive. Installing windows went well but now i put in my old boot drive to format it with disk managment so i can use it as a secondary drive but it is showing up weirdly. When i right-click on it everything is greyed out. When i start disk managment it asks me to choose between MBR and GPT but if i choose GPT i get an error message. Any help is greatly appreciated!

PS: Sorry for the OS being in german, hope thats not an issue.

it says not initialized, if you right click it should be an option to initialize it. and check that it is marked as online.

But.. we would need to know a bit more around the system,

Mainboard, what the other disk is, what ports they are plugged in to. etc.
