Sim card in desktop PC

RubberyDucky

I know, i know, its bad, the idea, everything. I just need to make it work. I think the size is a nano-sim, i don't care how it works (as long as the network provider is the speed restrictor) i just need it to work somehow. I have a visible 25/month unlimited data plan, i wanna know if something like this will work or if visible will recognize any device on the network as being on a "hotspot" and therefore limiting the speed to 5 megabits a second. https://www.amazon.com/WDINLY-Hotspot-Wireless-Unlocked-Portable/dp/B0BS3QQ8WL
I just need a way to use the sim card for unlimited internet for my pc, thanks for your help if you do!

The best solution would be to get used 4g/5g router, so you can position it in the best place with the strongest signal (not where PC is located).

In my country, used Mikrotik 4g routers got for 30 eur and 5g for 90 eur.

If you are trying to get around the network provider limiting "hotspot" to 5Mbit then no, a router probably wont fix that.

We also cannot help further in that case as it would be against the forum rules.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)

This is how you get your service shut off for violating their TOS. Just saying.

Also want to say they will figure out what you are doing, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that you would be using shit loads more data than the average customer. On those grounds they will likely terminate your service.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Oh, I thought that was a phone limitation.

RIP OP for the shitty network plan, In my country I get 5g with +400Mbps speeds for 20 Eur and no limits (I usually use around 100 GB on phone and a couple TB for my home network).

The provider the OP has is an MVNO, they lease network resources from a bigger provider like Verizon, AT&T or T Mobile. A lot of these cheaper plans have restrictions on data. Not really a "Shitty network" just the OP has cheaped out on a cellular plan. For context both Verizon and T Mobile sell 4/5G home internet plans.
