Really need some help with my PC randomly crashing

For a few months now I've been having an issue of my PC randomly crash. When it crashes all my screens go black and my fans in ramp up to high speeds. For a long time I thought it was something to do with my cooler, so I replaced that and didn't really have any issues for a while, then it randomly happened again, now this time it seemed to be the RAM, I did find out by trial and error that one of the DIMS on the motherboard is shot and I can only have 1 stick of ram in(could this be causing a random short that's killing the pc?). Most of the time it happens when I play games but its not any specific games like today I was fine all day until I tried to play VR.

12 Gen i9-12900K 3.20GHz
NZXT 360mm AIO CPU Liquid Cooler

32 GB DDR5 RAM

Windows 11

RTX 4090

HX 1200 Watt, PSU 80+ Platinum

1 Back Fan, 4 pulling fans-> 2 in front, 2 on top for AIO

Updated BIOS to latest

Updated Graphics to latest

Check the pins on the motherboard (CPU socket) for bent pins. And reseat the CPU. The memory controller is on the CPU.
