Half my videos are corrupted half good

I record many videos on a camera, which I later store on my HDD. It so happened once my hard drive failed somehow, so I bought a new one and attempted to recover files, I managed to get "everything" I wanted 

Until the day came I wanted to rewatch some stuff, and half of them were somehow corrupt? I mean I can watch most of my videos, but it will be like - for example - video 52 good, video 53 bad, video 54 good, video 55 bad.

And I can't watch everything the whole time I filmed, I only get parts. This is frustrating as I can't watch the entire thing, edit, etc... 

 

Another thing to add is I have a duplicate of every clip (I am assuming from recovery somehow)

I would need a way I can delete - example - 52(1).mp4 when I already have clip 52

Although every duplicate (1) I would need to delete, How can I do this quickly? Or would it be one by one delete..?

I hope someone can answer my questions.

If you are certain all the (1) files are duplicate, you can simply go into the directory, search for "(1)" in explorer, then select all and delete. (of course verify the search result only contains what you want first)

Well, you apparently didn't, how did you try to recover it?

do you still have that failed drive?

did you verified that the files were OK after recovery?

I didn't exactly, I used AOMEI MyRecover 

I do have failed drive, I keep all PC components as well as packaging

This post is now me verifying files to come to half corrupt files, I am unsure what to do to recover all, I am stumped.

 

Edit: I believe from the MyRecover version It only let me recover half or so of my files or something? Maybe I have to purchase the full version to recover all?

What was the failure of that HDD, what happened?
do you have a smart table of in from crystaldiskinfo

looks like a failed hard-drive to me - very hard to actually impossible to recover video files usually,  which is why you should always do backups  - and don't overwrite the once backed up files with the same possibly already corrupted ones - a common mistake, easy to make sadly.

I havent had much time lately sorry, I have realized I am still using the SAME HDD YIKES! I need some kind of help, I have downloaded CrystalDiskInfo and here's a screenshot of that HDD. Myrecover does NOT fix my solution in this case, I try to recover some just to see if I can view/edit but it gives me a blank gray screen for the png, mp4, etc... 

I use my PC mostly to game and its on almost 24/7 unless I update windows.

I have been using this HDD since I have noticed the videos weren't all playable, is this a problem? What is my best options right now?

to add - I ALSO want to get a 6-10TB external HDD for video editing and have a storage to keep videos.

I am still hoping to restore these videos, and move them to a safe external, getting rid of this 1TB weird HDD.

Did you write anything to this HDD, after attempting to recover the data, and copy it to second HDD?

I am not sure what is meant by write anything to this HDD, I continued use and uploaded more videos to the drive. I never tried copying to another HDD, I would have to buy a new HDD and move all the storage yes?

I assumed, you bought a new HDD, and recovered the data to it? 
like you can’t recover the data from hdd directly to the same HDD ( as that will overwritten the recovering files )

 

is there any problem with newer files? (Are only the recovered files corrupted?)

I happened to mistake myself by saying I bought a new HDD and recovered "everything" I did not realize I kept the same HDD the entire time, I replaced a Mac Mini failed HDD for an SSD which is good now, I thought I had done my HDD. Sorry I did not remember correctly At the time.

 

So the story is, I have always had this HDD, it had some crash or something I believe and I tried using Myrecover to recover those half or so videos that arent playing.

All the new videos and files I upload now are all working and I can watch with no problem.
