High GPU hotspot temperatures - decent average temperature

Shiniontv

Hello everyone

According to HWMonitor, my GPU will have a hotspot temperature of around 105 degrees Celsius, when the average temperature is around 77 degrees.

This has also resulted in my fans randomly spinning at maximum speed for a few seconds before returning to normal.

I have just cleaned my PC to remove any dust that may cause this issue, but I still experience these issues.

I have a Gigabyte Geforce RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC from early 2020.
