IN NEED OF HELP!

I built a PC to use as a home server to make a couple of dayz servers on...i got it built and dayz installed but idk how to port forward my router...or set up a remote desk top im trying to avoid monthly fees if somebody could help me i would appreciate the snot out of it.

"IP address" will be the address of the PC you're using as a server.

As for remote desktop, use a tool like Parsec if you need access from outside your network. DO NOT try to port forward the Remote Desktop built into Windows out to the public Internet! That's just begging to get hacked.

what are the chances you have a discord we could get in a call and you could help a brotha out i got cash app...ive been following these steps for a few days and im failing miserably

Sorry, no. I don't have time to do that.

 

If you can't get it working, you might be better off renting a hosted game server. The cost won't be all that much more than the electricity cost of running your own computer as a server 24/7, and the host takes care of all the nuts and bolts of keeping it up and running for you.
