It's overall a great monitor afaik, tho HDR overall on Windows is a bit wonky so I personally wouldn't actively search for better HDR, but compare other important specs. Not sure if that helps, GL!

HDR isnt a must for me but i thought might as well since it is mentioned it has i think HDR 400, but in terms of specs its exactly what i would want, Gsync High refresh rate and most importantly 4k

If that's the case, then I would buy it. ASUS monitors are decent.

I own Asus monitors and they are good, even the lower end ones. I am currently using Dell monitors on my main rig, only because they have daisy chaining and Asus doesn't.

Are you more worried about colors or just gaming experience and smoothness?

Ive been pretty happy with windows on my c2 in HDR mode. Good amount of apps support HDR like lightroom, resolve, and chrome, as well as games. SDR apps look fine.

That monitor is HDR 400, so I don't really see it as good HDR. Look for a OLED or HDR 1000 or higher for good HDR experience.

ASUS is mostly better in gaming performance,

it's just bit worse at black levels (worse dark scenes) and poor contrast ratio (poorer but comparatively poor), it's upside is it's almost completely calibrated from factory and the colors are as accurate as they can be unless you have tools for entire calibration

here are their advertised specs side by side, they are quite similar actually based on just specs: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/96bc2bad0b

it's worse in black levels, color gamut and contrast, and more expensive, it's better in motion performance though so it depends on what op prioritize
