There are several brands of mesh wifi to get, you won't get meshing from buying separate routers; but you can get extensions that will allow you to not need to reconnect as you move around.

decent brands to look at, their sites do a fair job explaining how meshing works. (this is not all the brands I just linked 3 I'm familiar with.)

I don't use meshing myself as my home is too small to need/require meshing.

Bought new house in Malaysia and currently renovating. I want to have good wifi coverage around the house and based on some advice i should be my own router (and not use ASP provided one) and 2 extensions. I would like them to work like a mesh so i don`t have to  re-connect manually. What mid-high end router would be recommended and what should I buy for 2 extensions hubs? I`m fairly green at networking so would appreciate something that`s easy to setup or have good documentation.

If your redoing the house, I'd run ethernet in the walls so you don't have to have wireless mesh between the nodes.

We are redoing Ethernet cables from cat5 to cat6 and all rooms will have Ethernet ports. The wifi is mainly for mobile devices. would also like to use Wireless VR (quest) in same room as the router. (this part optional)
