Access Denied error when copying item

I have a secondary HDD in my desktop, that I use for most of my large files like images, videos, etc, but when I try to copy some files from my camera I get an access denied error. 

This HDD was formatted in my previous Windows 11 installation, after that I had to format my main NVME and install Win 11 afresh. After that, when I started getting this error. 

If I copy the files to my NVME and then copy them to the problematic HDD it works fine.

I have tried a few solutions, but none of them worked. Namely, I have given full permissions to my user, admin, and the rest of the available users, but it didn't solve the issue.

 

 

Another thing that I tried was to run these two commands:

 

takeown /F D:\ /R /D Y
icacls D:\ /grant NAME-desktop\USERNAME:F /T

 but again, nothing has changed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is the problematic drive connected via USB or SATA?

It is connected via SATA.
