Microsoft tested ignoring default browser in skype years ago

MaxiTB

Hi,

The behavior that MS ignores browser default settings was implemented by Microsoft over 5 years ago in Skype.

When users actively complained about this in their bug forums, they responded with this being a feature and not a bug and locked the discussions.

Here an example (plus screenshot if they remove it):
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/skype/forum/all/disable-skype-web-browser-use-default-browser/6b883568-1d95-49d7-9e0c-ec766301d113

So yes, they tested this via skype years ago and they got away with it so far. So this implementation in Teams is not a big surprise.
