Olympic pool heated by AI

heating pool with something that's not for the purpose of making heat isn't new,

 

some spa or something (whatever else) heats their pools with system that cools their crypto-coin mining rigs.

How is waste heat from a data center performing AI different from any other data center waste heat or any other waste heat?

 

We installed data center HVAC systems 10+ years ago that use waste heat for space and water heating. I didn't know this was worth an AI news story in 2024.

 

Hope they use AI water and AI swimmers wearing AI speedos.
