No Display Input After 10-30 minutes of gaming in some games

so only turned on the game, and it was around 107 you can see the max there, so I have pulled front and side panel, and it was averaging 90-105 I think it didn't go higher than that 107 afterwards

yeah for a midrange GPU this is pretty hot, re-pasting should most likely fix this, as a dry paste loses it's thermal properties or can open pockets of air that are just bad for thermal transfer

So recently, I built a new PC. Everything seems to be working fine; I have run some stress tests like Cinebench and 3D Mark, and everything is running as it should. I can play Counter-Strike for six hours straight with no problems. However, when it comes to F1 23, my monitors basically stop receiving input. I can still hear the game and music playing, but there is no video output, and I have to restart the PC. This also happened with one other game, and to be honest, I have no idea why.

My GPU drivers are updated, and I have even reset Windows. Maybe something is wrong in the BIOS—that's one of two things I can think of that could be the issue. The second possibility is that something is wrong with the GPU, as that's the only part I bought used. However, as I mentioned, I stress-tested it, and it ran fine; the temperatures were also okay.

I have no idea what's going on. If anyone has any guesses about what could be causing this, please let me know. I would really appreciate it!

likely RAM.

What model(s) how many sticks are installed?

XMP on or off?

more likely is RAM instabilities,  or CPU, which is a intel 13th gen which is also known to have massive stability issues.

yeah, but stresstests aren't real loads, that's also why it works fine in some games and not in others.

A stress test is generally not meant to tell you "oh this part is faulty i better replace it"... if you're lucky a stresstest can do that, but its not really the purpose and often it just doesn't work like that.

likewise with ram tests, that just either tells you the RAM is working or it isnt, doesn't mean there can't be stability issues on the memory controller during certain tasks.

The direction tells you... the direction

yeah but that's brand new,

though I would be careful and researched the 13th/14th gen degradation, and apply all the possible solutions that mitigate this problem

XMP seems to be off because 1200Mhz x2 = 2400MT

I have a question, why does it say 24GB on the RAM?

So I have 2x8GB of 3200 MHz RAM at 1.35V, and about 1.5 years ago, I got an additional 8GB stick from a friend, thinking it was identical. However, I just learned that it’s not the same. On my previous system, I had zero problems running these 3 stick of RAM together, but I recently noticed that the third stick is only 1.2V. That’s why I couldn’t enable XMP—when I did, the system crashed.

I tried using just the 16GB of 1.35V RAM with XMP enabled, but the issue still occurred. It seems like it took a bit longer before the problem happened, but I’m not entirely sure. It appears to happen randomly.

Try resetting the BIOS and only using the 2 sticks,

do you still have problems with blackscreens?

Here you can see the gpu and also cpu in F23 and also for some reason the load from nzxt is not correct or at least i dont think so because nvidia is saying the gpu is on 99%

can you use HWinfo64? it tracks more than just average temps

so i have looked at it and I think the hot spot temps might be causing the issue any ideas how to lower hot spot temperature

is it 95-105C?

only way to resolve hotspot temp is re-pasting the GPU, scary process, but if you're careful it should be easy,

all you need is good thermal paste, small screwdrivers that can open GPU and perhaps air duster to clean the heatsink too.

Oh yeah, also dust, first try is of course cleaning case from dust if it is too dusty,

and seeing how temps improve with case's side panel off.

yeah for sure, it's not that difficult, but not the easiest job either, like building PC's isn't for everyone too,

this is that but more delicate work, you are unscrewing cooler from GPU, cleaning off old paste preferably with high concentration IPA or something similar, and you apply new paste on the GPU die

So today I have done it, it was extremely easy the hardest part was to put it apart because the thermal paste completely dried out the temperatures seems fine on games I played, before it was around 105C hot spot now it's looking like this thank you for your help! image.png?ex=66c4fc0f&is=66c3aa8f&hm=b058fb9f895138636948b8dcd9944e2d298a13b5d78e63636943e9b8e542df89&=

no problem, I really should repaste mine, it has similar average temps you see on yours, while on 50% power limit
