Memory error?

ive noticed in my event viewer there are many apps that have the error code 0xc0000005, including games that sometimes (not alot, rarely) crashed for me like witcher 3 and Dying Light 2, here are the logs.:

memtest86 ran fine more than once with no errors and all benchmarks including 3dmark, furmark, superposition, cinebench r20 and r23, all ran fine for 30+ minutes.

like i said very rare crashes but weird cuz they also seem to happen on DX12 games only

You got spawn of all evil program installed? Asus armory crate? If yes disable in BIOS, then run Armory crate uninstall tool: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury crate/helpdesk_download/

Check if fast boot is enabled in bios and in windows as well. If disabled (or you want it disabled), then disable in windows as well. Has to be set the same in windows and bios.

Check if your 980 pro is running the latest firmware.

Check if your ram is running normal expo profile and not an Asus optimized one. Alternatively try on auto or manually setup frequency, primary timings and DRAM voltage, disable EXPO.

CPU: Ryzen 5800X3D | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x16gb 3200 @3600mhz | PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G3 | Monitor: LG 27GL850-B , Samsung C27HG70 |

I have armoury crate disabled, i am running latest firmware on my ssd as well, i am also currently running docp but profile 2 not 1, i heard that i should use 2 not 1 even though i checked and theyre both the same, however ill try disabling it and setting my memory frequency manually, also i ran an occt 1 hour 100% vram test to test all 24gb on the 4090 for 1 hour and no errors were detected, i cant seem to get any error on any stress test i did on any of my components. The crashes are really rare but still makes you wonder why especially with such a high end build

Actually update, after 37 mins, for some reason occt detected like sooo many memory errors on my vram, this is so weird and also my gpu driver got like disconnected or something i had to restart my pc, it said on device manager windows stopped this device because it isnt working, i literally replaced this 4090 like 6 months ago its brand new i dont understand, could there be something else causing these memory erros like the 16 pin cable or maybe idk the power supply my windows anything? Also im running the test on 100% memory, the default is 80%

Did you check the fast boot thing? My 7900XT was doing the same thing. Disconnecting and crashing driver. Check fast boot in BIOS (fast startup in windows) - set to the same thing in both bios and windows. Enabled or disabled.

Yes but my disconnection thing happened during a memory stress test, it gave so many errors. I will check it but for now im running this test again to see if itll have issues, do you know if there is anything else other than fast startup that can cause vram issues, i just wanna make sure my gpu itself is fine

Yes bad VRAM, and a lot of other stuff that is hardware related. Maybe test the fast boot thing first and then run the test after. Also might wanna reinstall GPU drivers, just in case. Downlaod DDU. Run DDU in safe mode (you'll get prompted on program startup). After entering DDU, go to options, toggle prevent windows update from installing drivers. Go back and run clean and restart. Install Nvidia drivers again. Do your test after you've checked fast boot

i think windows found that there is no memory and intentionally disconnected the gpu, therefore causing the errors. when i re did the test i had no background apps open. ill try again with background apps and see but i think the memory is fine
