256gb ssd in Xbox One S

I am a pc gamer but I want to use my xbox again to play some of my games on disk that I don't want to buy again for pc. I was wondering if I can swap in a 256gb ssd just to speed things up. Or is 256gb too small.

256GB is too small, the minimum capacity that will work is 500GB. But with how SSD prices are, it's probably a better idea to just go with a 1TB drive of some fashion.
