It does, but OP probably has the right IP given that they don't get a NotFound response

Incorrect. Plenty of routers I've used are .0 not .1

Yes its form my ISP and the model is listed, I don’t know the configuration

Many of these routers require that you have a hardline connection in order to configure them. You might be in luck and be able to use a USBC to ethernet dongle

When i try to enter the ip for the router it says “failed to connect/provider timet out”

i have a zyxel router (Dual-Band Wireless AX6000 VDSL2/Ethernet IAD)

I used an iPad to try to login

Is this the router that came from your ISP? Do you have access to that? Also what model?

This is the default setup in order to access the router:

Some of you sometimes forget local ip does differ, have you changed local ip address? If so launch cmd type in ipconf

Or go to status of your adapter settings it will also show ip address.

I'm sure you'll be able to find ip address in wifi settings on ipad.

It will show your current pc ip.

Usually ip adress is 192.168.1.2

Then router is always number one at the end like 192.168.1.1 but if its different like this 172.168.1.200 then router is then 172.168.1.1 always number one at the end that is the router ip address.

I'm jank tinkerer if it works then it works.

Regardless of compatibility 🐧🖖

It depends on the subnet. 99.9% of home networks are going to be on /24. No router will live on .0 as that's the network ID. So i think for most cases this is wrong. Typically they will be .1, an admin might also choose to use .254 or anything else they decide!

However, If you're running a /24 '255.255.255.0' then .0 and .255 can't be used as they're the network and broadcast addresses.

but if you are running /23 mask.. you can...
