Budget (including currency): £2500 NON-NEGOTIABLE

Country: England

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 4K editing, general AAA gaming + heavily modded Minecraft/CS2

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Parts list will be below, has to include at least a 4K144 monitor, upgrading from R3 4100/RX480 + 1080p60, planning on buying next week or week after, 4K90-120

Hi there,

Was planning a build for a friend and previously posted about PCPP having the USB 3.2 gen 2-gen 1 adapter note - that got resolved, but it got me thinking - is there anywhere that I can increase performance within the budget? Unfortunately the thermal paste is a requirement because my friend likes the idea of it being silver, with a 4K144 monitor, and it has to be all white, with an Nvidia GPU (but at this price point that makes sense, I suppose). List is below.

Very nice 🙂

Not sure you can get 6000MT with 2x32GB (depends on chip, board, gods will 🙂  ), so 6400 is useless, get 6000CL30 RAM instead

If you're going 4K rather get 32", tho it's more expensive, 27" is perfectly fine at 1440p

Seems good to me, but getting ram over 6000MHz is pointless on AM5, save some money by getting a 6000MHz cl30 kit. You might wanna consider the arctic liquid freezer 3 for the AIO, it has a 1 year longer warranty, better performance from what i've seen, and has a VRM fan

From my experience it is not worth paying extra for 4k 27inch compared to 1440p 27inch
