Having trouble running Roms Through Demul

I am trying to emulate the first 3 initial d arcade stage games through demul

(I followed a guide more than a year ago do it) but I booted it up recently after I hadn’t played in a while and it pops up an error when I try to load the game “error cannot find “(insert file name of rom)” in romset “naomi2” I thought at first that I just needed to move the roms to the naomi2 romset  folder but I  can’t find that anywhere not it the demul directory or in file explorer 

other info which may or may not be relevant

win 11 64bit

The file names of the roms match what shows up in the error when I try to load them 

the roms and demul itself are dated from 2022 so I am not sure if I just need to update the emulator
