Hello,

searching for a quality gaming headset in range about 50€ (Europe).

Right now I have HYPERX Cloud Stinger Core and I have been more then satisfied with them.

The durability was very good, since they fell from the table multiple times.

Cable quality was also decent and it didn't rip anywhere when it fell from table as it was under tension.

The only minus was the leather from the ear drums peeled off, but that was also not the problem since they have a very soft pads underneath.

Also big plus was it came with connection in the middle of the cable, so they could easily be unplugged from pc to phone or laptop with no problem.

So something like that would be excellent.

Thanks for suggestions.

Sounds like you're very satisfied with your headset, why look for new ones? I had Clouds 1 when they released, mic died after 8 years and took the connector with it so sadly no replacement works. Now purely used for audio.

Not sure at 50eur you'll find an upgrade, a sidegrade at best. Next tier only starts 150eur+.

The sound is kinda scuffed, the left one works better then right one, and the microphone is starting to "hum" more and more when talking to people.

Check the connection of the jack. Sounds like either not fully plugged in or cable going after sitting in one position for so long. Play around with it, see which position it lies in the best and doesn't complain.

If headphones are going, with analouge you can just adjust ear bias and have it be balanced again. Such as 100% right, 90% left, then raise volume. For mic, check if windows mic boost isn't set to +80% cause that's just static. Leave it at +20% max and have people maybe sound boost on their end such as you can do on discord and TS3. For recordings just increase volume on Shadownplay/Radeon side than input itself.
