Yeah, I was thinking the same. Is there anything you think I should change which could improve the performance without spending more money?

You could buy a used 5600, a used and cheaper motherboard and a used gpu, like the 6600xt

Hi Guys,

I want to build a PC with a budget of £500. I've put together a build in PC Part Picker and would appreciate it if you could take a look and provide feedback. I mostly play League of Legends, Warzone, Battlefield 1, and Path of Exile.

Thanks

It's not bad, but certainly not the best price/performance machine. Consider a used pre-build instead. I found this company (UK-based) that may have a suitable deal for you. However, I've never done business with them, so YMMV!

Alternatively, do a "Linus" and get an old Dell/HP/Lenovo workstation (Intel 10th gen or up) for cheap, then put in a decent GPU and SSD and you're off to the races 🙂

overbudget but all is new except the GPU, you can ditch the thermalright CPU cooler as the 5600 comes with one (and although it's not great, it gets the job done)
