New $500 laptop

My grandpa is looking for a new Windows laptop for $500. What are the best options? 
 

Looking for about 4 options to choose from.

I would check Chuwi or OpenBox in bestBuy, anything else new is quite trash (based on build quality and specs)

I think he'd probably rather buy a "common brand" like Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc but yeah there can be some good stuff in the open box sections!!

There is really good stuff in the $500 range. This one has Ryzen 5 8640HS, 16 GB RAM, aluminum casing, plenty of nice specs.
