AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor, in thiss case? (Not built yet). Just for fun.

Will it have enough cooling in https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BLXY7S4Y/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_6?smid=A26YYQ0U8ZSIL1&th=1&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR3OHTIsuTVPA87PuMNIWnn7T4jbanqNulj9qqmRlwjzUQN9G-_3_W3q3uY_aem_u01wLl5SsgueUL4NCu3KzA a  ID-COOLING IS-55 BLACK CPU Cooler Low Profile 57mm Height CPU Air Cooler 5 Heatpipes 120x120x15mm Slim Fan, CPU Fan for Intel LGA1700/115X/1200; AMD AM4/AM5 for cooling seems a good pick, but in the case I have had to put 2 fans blowing in. It was 90c+ ganibg. From that cas linked it will suck ait right from outside. They ddid say don't OC with the fan, so just a 5800 may be better. 😞 thought so, would be cool to have a screamen sys that small. my old 2700 would prob. be fine in it. What would be the best chip it could take (AMD)? Thought about butcher a old original Xbox & making a frnkencase, putting the inside from that in the Xbox, but that wouldn't work either right.

Wouldn't it be then just smarter to get the 5700X? No eco modes just standard will run at 65W, probs even faster than a 5800X at reduced power thus speeds even when base 5700X is 5-10% slower.

They're the same CPU, grab whichever you can snag for cheaper (probably the 5700x, but who knows, maybe someone with good common sense is selling theirs for the same price) and tune it manually to match the use case.

My point was that I'd just buy a 5700X and save the money over a 5800X if I'll be running the 5800X handicapped.

In terms of you saying "fine" hard to say. It'll all depend on how loud the system is. Buy a competent cooler that fits, maybe quiet enough to withstand a full loads noise. Buy a crap one, might still be loud.

For something that small you're looking at a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 or a thermalright axp90-x36. Aa an owner of the NH-L9a with an R5 3600, I can say for sure the cpu cooler is the loudest part of the system by far. Not to say it's excessively loud

That sucks, hmmm, what would be a good cooler for monster CPUs.  A case like the Velcxase cases would be good, only yhe gpu would go under the MB, so a AIO could go onto the PSU. You think that would exist already. I wish I new a place that would do a cheap case. I have an idea. All you need to do is have it extent 5.25 past 7 in. get 2 take them down to the frame, extent enough to a SFX to sit dlat, a AIO can sit on the PSU (if it wouldn't get warm from the PSU) & the sandwich can be in the same plasce. Just get the PSU backplate so you can screw it in. Then find some 12 vented panels.

that can't hold an AIO on top.  the case is less than 200mm deep.

you need to decide:

Do you want a super tiny ITX Case, or do you want an enthusiast build with good cooling?

You can't have both. Because Thermodynamics and Physics.

thermalright axp90-x36. Aa an owner of the NH-L9a with an R5 3600, I can say for sure the cpu cooler is the loudest part of the system by far. Not to say it's excessively loud

I ordered a 0mm Height Mini-ITX Low Profile Cooler with 92x92x12mm Slim Big Airflow Fan, Black Color Theme, AM4 and LGA115X, TDP 95W for ID-COOLING IS-30. Hopefully it will be enough for the Ryzen 5 2700, that chip is 65w TDP.
