I get the CPU and the graphics card but I chose the case specifically so I could put it on the left side of my desk. The GPU is sponsored by my grandma and it might be a bit too expensive for her but I'll give it a try. Thanks for the help anyway.

Ok, but the case really looks like it has very bad airflow, can't you find a better cooler one ?

Well I was just making a first attempt and then school got more stressful so I had to postpone the project to the end of term. Now is end of term and I started a new build because my options and budget changed.

I've filtered for you PSU's with the needed cable, then crosscheck where said PSU model lands in this list. Don't get anything D or below.

Cable looks like this. With all cables, make sure they're completely plugged in with no room left to go deeper.

OK one last question: RGB or no RGB? i like the look of rgb but does it make the PC any worse? does it have any Downsides? do i need specific/expesive Software? Thanks in advance for your advice.

RGB is purely cosmetic. If you want shiny lights, go for it. If you want to save a few bucks, skip it.
