Help choosing a new monitor.

I've been looking at a few monitors available --and in stock-- at my local micro center. these are two that caught my attention:

Any opinions? i'm trying to keep the price under or around 300$. I have a liking towards the LG one.

I dunno, the Acer is a curved monitor and I hated those when I tried them. Also it's VA, IPS takes the win for me so LG.

The LG being an IPS definitely makes up for the refresh. Curved is also a preference.
