I have no idea why this is happening but it has been happening in every game I play (elden ring and BF1 recently).
Unless I have my firefox browser open on my 3rd monitor, my performance is completely fucked (literally 30% of the usual FPS)
Just tested with BF1 and my fps went from ~120 with high CPU usage 95%+ across all 8 threads with browser open to super choppy 30-70fps with 100% usage across all cores with no browser open.
Any advice/ideas appreciated.

I have tried:
bios update
malware scan
windows updates
various games

P.S. played BF1 for a few days and had great performance, now for the last week it has been fucked no matter what settings I change, bad input lag + 50% of expected frame rate. This issue is probably unrelated.

Try playing the game but increasing priority level in Task Manager and see if that does anything
