It is an entry-level 1080p gaming PC, with some decent upgradability. There are some newer games it would struggle with like Starfield, but you'll find outside of recent AAA then games will be decently playable, especially for just $85!

Nothing, if your games can fit on the SSD. It is pretty much fine for what I imagine you intend to use it for and expensive upgrades would make it uh.., not a cheap PC anymore.

85$ for this PC is an incredible deal!

You write that it might need to replace psu/ram/ssd.  Why is this?

Apparently it shuts down whenever its put through a stress test and he thinks that it might be a psu problem

Its a risk worth taking in my opinion unless you are on a very strict budget and 85$ is all you have.

You might need to swap the PSU out and I would recommend the MSI MAG A550BN or MSI MAG A650BN.

The MSI MAG A550BN is 50 bucks, reliable and comes with 5 year warranty 🙂  We recommend these a lot for budget builds.

550w is plenty for this system.

buy it now

as for the issues just post em in the troubleshooting subforum if there are any but those all sound like minor issues

i dont know where you get the idea that the ram psu and ssd need to be replaced as two of those parts are among the least error prone components in a build and unstable ram just needs some tweaking

psu replacement is warranted only under 1 condition that is there are issues with it like random shutdowns or it up and died on you otherwise if it works fine with your current build theres no real reason to swap it, and at this budget id look at used psus as 50$ would get you an rm850x or equivalent and cheaper actually decent units do exist unlike new where 50$ gets you a shitty 600w bronze with a non existent (<10 year) warranty and nothing decent below that
