I plan on using the 7800X3DASRock B650M HDV, and Silicon Power Value DDR5 32GB 6000CL30.

Regarding the ram, it doesn't mention AMD expo, only Intel XMP3.0, and I don't see it in the QVL of the motherboard, so I'm not sure if it can be properly overclocked. There's this Corsair Vengeance, which has support for AMD expo and also has slightly better latency. (30-36-36-76 vs 30-38-38-96 of the silicon power) However, it is $30 more, would it be worth getting over the silicon power?

In this cinebench benchmark with the ASRock B650M HDV it seems to perform worse than other motherboards, but how seriously should I take these sort of tests? Does it largely not matter? I was thinking of the MSI PRO B650M A, but I've heard that (and other MSI boards) has problems with ram overclocking with Ryzen

Why this motherboard over the ASRock, if the cinebench scores don't mean much?

It's still a rather bad board, and better ones VRM wise aren't that more expensive

Not really. It gets warmer than others, but it doesn't overheat, and that is legitimately all that matters. If you need extra features, sure get something higher end, but vrm thermals are not a reason to avoid the B650M-HDV/M.2

79C is ok and 7950X is enthusiast CPU which is bought by people with money, which are same people that can afford 20x better MB anyways

same price, more phases maybe, double 8pin connector, which I doubt they'd just make a weak VRM motherboard with 2 8pin connectors, that'd be stupid
