I've picked up a Dell U2421E to use in place of my docking station as sometimes it's not the most reliable thing. The current monitors that I have don't support MST so I'm looking to pick up another 1 or 2 to daisy chain. When I asked Dell for their MST supported monitors they only gave me 1 suggestion of a $500 monitor that is also a hub. Should I just return the U2421E and get a newer one as it looks like it is discontinued. If not are there any MST monitors that you can point me to that I can use?

MST is a subset of DisplayPort. Any monitor with a DP input is "supported" as a secondary monitor.

(or, if you're sneaky, you can use an active DP->HDMI adapter and use pretty much any monitor.)
