Damn it, it's modern hardware. With this being TecToy (who owns the license to produce a few old Sega consoles), I was hoping for a Sega Game Gear

I was gonna comment on how shite it seems to perform, but then I realized I own a Nintendo Switch so I have no room to talk.

Assuming that it has decent optimization, ithe base model is about the same performance as a snapdragon 480 5G in terms of raw CPU performance, which isn't amazing, but could be worse, and is a 2c/4t CPU which is anemic.

The Ryzen 7, if it's the same gen, is a 3700u, which with the Vega 10 graphics, is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade over the base model, and will actually be usable.

It's by no means a steam deck with those specs, probably close to a switch lite on the base model without the walled garden optimisation, and is going to be great as an emulation machine. That said, it'll need to be like $200 for the base and $250 for the upgraded model for it to have a chance at being actually competitive over a 2-3 yr old phone.

I wish them the best, and being a homegrown Brazilian company, it may just be competitive with how high the import taxes are on everything.

I looked up the site, it says the Ryzen 7 is a 6800u and it'll be using AMD RDNA2 Radeon 680m for graphics

if you scroll all the way down theres an option to change the language Zeenix

could have atleast gone for a ryzen 3 or ryzen 5 for the lite model so itd still be somewhat usable

a shitty dual core zen athlon with a non existent igpu is not exactly gonna game very well though for web browsing or something itll do just fine

Would be cool if they did like a limited game gear edition

Uhm I might be out of touch... but do people actually play competitive / Esports genres such as FPS & MOBA games on a handheld?

Maybe? MOBAs are really big here in LATAM, so the convenience is there, I don't know how well LOL: Wild Rift performed, since that was the mobile port of LOL.

yea clever so as long they sell these under 400 its like printing money.  i guess 290 and 350 or something funny like that... no value but will sell regardless.
