That $1 will evaporate from gas fees instantly. You will never be able to do anything with that $1 as that is not enough to even cover the fees of moving it.

I am curious, how did you get one dollar?

Say I had something slightly more significant like $25 would I be able to trade it, stake it, or cash out then? If not, then how much would I need?

In that case you might be able to trade it for another coin and then cash that coin out for USD. Several USD worth would be eaten up by fees still.

Exchanges will charge you anywhere from $5 to God knows what when you remove cash, no matter how much. You'll also pay fees to buy and sell your crypto. You might be charged by your bank every time you send money out. Personally, for under $100, I wouldn't bother cashing it out, and that's on the extreme low end. I'd prefer to be in the mid-hundreds before even thinking about cashing out, courtesy of those fees.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

I gathered my one dollar's worth of RVN coin through mining and various other methods of collecting small crypto amounts. I was never deeply into crypto mining or the crypto scene at large. My goal was simply to understand it better.

Consider that $1 a learning fee

As others pointed out, fee will burn that

at <100$ the only thing that comes to mind thatd give substantial returns is trading for me and that is ludicrously high risk as ive seen for myself constantly blowing my account =p

im pretty sure ill make it at some point but maybe not with a puny 5$ account thatll blow the moment my entry is off and my entries are literal garbage for the most part

if you wanna get some money out of crypto and have alot of time you can try crypto airdrops, usually theyre in the form of a game for the free ones and you do have to wait awhile usually a few months before airdrop but afaik should be able to get a few hundred $ assuming you do it regularly

my mom does airdrops and she has gotten a few hundred $ out of em albiet after a few months of waiting and diligently playing the crypto game thingy thats usually in the form of an idle clicker (yes very boring ik)

ive tried myself but i keep getting really lazy after awhile so i think ill just stick to trading as i do have some capital available (~200$ + 50-70$ from existing computer hardware) where i shouldnt just lose all my money if my entry is garbage
