how can I test gpu fans?

so I have a bunch of leftover gpu FANS (mostly from rtx 3060/3070/3080) and I want to sell them but I dont know if they work or not

is there any way I can test them? I tried pluging them in the mobo's "sys_fan" but they dont fit, their jack is smaller

get a breadboard, jumper wires and 12v adapter (or have a 12v power source at hand). I tend to bypass breadboard and splice male jumper wires straight into a 12v power adapter and test fans that way.

Be aware GPU fans are very violent at full throttle. Something like 5v can also work with most BUT you wouldnt know if one has a bad bearing/bushing that way.

Not ever fan is gifted with average size, but there's an adapter for that.

You could also just cut the end off a random fan and make an adapter for it. You'd only have to give it 12Vdc and GND from any fan header to see if it goes brrr or not.
