HDR in KDE Plasma 6?

I was told HDR might be making my color odd, but as far as I know it is not on. I would check, but the option is in Display Customazation. Only options I have are Resolution, Oriantation Refresh Rate & Global Scale., I am still on X server. That is why I would think, but I hear X doesn't support HDR, so it can't be enabled. Yeah HDR only supported on Wayland.

You need to be using wayland to get HDR support and a distro that's shipping Plasma 6 I don't believe HDR is being backported to 5.27

 

Alternatively install gamescope and launch your games using that in steam and Lutris (just add gamescope as a launch command)

Just trying to figure out why some videos look off, no odd settings. How can I get a shot of how it looks? Phone camera will filter it right?

You cant, probably one of the reasons why your previous thread got deleted. You took a photo of some random human being displayed on this monitor and uploaded to forums for other users to view through their own screens to help you find why it was not "displaying not crist" (quote from your post).

Hmmm, well how is that shot for you? It looks like a film is over it, I remember that like looking through glass. Does LG have a forum?
