Vertical mouse speed 2x faster than horizontal when Ghub is active

Go to solution Solved by GuiltySpark_,

Ditch the disaster that is GHUB and use Logitechs own OMM (Onboard Memory Manager).

Doesn't need to install, doesn't run in the background, no bloat. Make your changes, hit save, close it. Just a tiny standalone exe and official from Logitech for their G products.

Hey, just started having this issue after ghub crashed today, whenever ghub is on, the vertical speed of my mouse (G502 Lightspeed) is about twice as fast as my horizontal. It happened after ghub crashed and it said it needed to update, it updated fine and then the issue appeared. Have tried restarting pc, reinstalling ghub and reseting the settings in ghub but it didn't help. Anyone have any idea why this might be? Is it a bug in the newest version or something? It does not happen if ghub isn't on.

Mouse firmware version: 17.0.8 (Up to date)

G Hub software version: 2024.4.572095 (Up to date)

That fixed it, did not know this software existed. Thank you!

I wish more people did. Keeps me using Logitech as I absolutely hated GHUB.

Why does noone like it?

I can't speak for anyone else but for me there is just a bit too much going on and feels unnecessary. I don't use profiles so there is no reason for something running the background.

I only use apps like ghub and icue to get my rgb working properly, and to set my dpi and stuff

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");
