It’s “around the corner” not “in the corner” one is used for nearby dates and locations, other is used for something else.

I haven’t heard anything about FSR3.1 but I doubt it will be a dramatic change.

Forgive me my incompetent English, it's not my main language 😅. But glad to know the proper version of it 😌

So it is around the corner, if Q2 will be without any delays.

Basing on images AMD shows with FSR 3.1, it may be some improvements, but how much, we have to wait for benchmarks.

It being released (to developers?) and it actually being available to gamers in a game isn't necessarily the same thing.

This is the key. Because FSR requires developers to implement it in their games, the update called "FSR 3.1" being "available" just means that developers are now free to update the relevant sections of their games with it. We, the end user, likely will have a lag of at least a few weeks before we see it in games.

The limited amount of information released actually does suggest that it will be a big update to image quality over FSR 2.2 - it is supposed to fix flickering and ghosting artifacts while also improving on the general quality of the upscaling, potentially making it comparable to DLSS, which would be a huge improvement if true.

The cherry-picked examples that AMD presented at GDC looked very promising, but we'll have to wait to see it implemented in a real game to know for sure that it does as advertised.

If you are not already aware, there are mods made for games that support DLSS upscaling, that tricks the game into using FSR instead.

Somehow these modded FSR turn out looking much better than the official FSR implementation.

If you look up DLSS/FSR comparison videos, they will always use the official implementations
