what do you think of the g230s tho

Most here are running Mid to High End headphones and desktop mics or some sort of clip on be it zalman or modmic.  I like audio company headsets or Headphones with detachable mics.

overall the G230 is  meh IMO.  the HyperX Cloud seem the best headset I can think of in your price range.

Why would you say that? Those are usually overpriced peieces of garbage according to Linus.

My AX pro's broke in under 6 months.

IMHO this is the worst option by far.

But hey it's your opinion.

What's up with my weird spacing?

I would say that because I think it's the better option.

It doesn't cost that much more to get a headset with a mic compared to a headset without one. Also I hate having to have an external mic sitting on my table. I'd much rather just get a headset.

No more than 100

@Lays

CHC silverados and a modmic are what I recommend if you want headphones and a mic

Pioneer SP-BS21-LR and a Lepai 2020A+ amp is what I would recommend for a speaker set.

you're sacrificing sound quality everywhere most likely. Especially at 100 bucks.
