QT2, the same QT as linux just older?

Thee guy mentions qt2 , so does Windows 11 have a later qt? The theme is not really universl so prob. not. It would be so nice if themes were consistent. I found something called Rectify11, nut not sure about it.

QT is a GUI framework. As long as you compile your application for the operating system you are aiming to deploy, it will work. You can get qt sources and their tools in their website.

I am not sure what Rectify11 has anything to do with the video you posted, once again that is the pattern in your posts.

I know what QT is. I am just confused because if that is what Windows uses, why are all apps not dark mode if you have dark mode on? I think that is what Rectify11 is meant to do, make the theme consisten.

Windows doesn't use QT, some Windows apps do. And if they were written with an old version of Qt that doesn't support a newer Windows feature like dark mode (or display scaling, common issue) then it doesn't work in that app.

You clearly dont. Windows users CAN use QT. Windows itself DOES NOT use QT. Windows always had its own GUI API (IIRC its called WPF for non MS released apps) Windows also has its own API for reading Dark/Light theme from the user preferences. QT also supports dark mode just fine.

 

Your Rectify11 argument has nothing to do with the video you posted or the rest of your post.

Well I wish all the apps used the latest qt so they would match the theme, anyway I found a vid. that mentions a theme that looks like 95 with the silver windows.
