software on fans troubleshooting

so my pc worked fine until launch app center from gigabyte wanted a update so i download it and restarted the pc and i had SIV on quiet mode so i download it and it suddenly loud asf and the smart fan 6 is now smart fan 5 so the software is the issue i dont know where to download the smart fan 6 software

Honestly as someone with several Gigabyte motherboards, for the most part I find the Gigabyte software to be bloatware and unnecessary.  The fans for example you can set curves and settings for in the BIOS, and don't need extra software running while the PC is running.

 

You didn't mention what motherboard exactly this was though?
