Rather low FPS in Fortnite, although my Specs should be sufficient :/

Yeah so i experience bad fps drops and generally low fps with performance settings. I have a 3080ti + my oc i7 8700k which is having heavy loads of 4-5/6 cores beeing maxed out.

Idk why thats hapeniong because my friend, with a far worse pc is having 3 or 4 times more fps.

I probably don't need to ask if you have vsync turned off, but how about HDD or SSD drive used for Fortnite?

Newest drivers, on my boot m.2  idk abt ram and i only tried direct x 11 Vsync is off atm and i didnt experience any better fps than 50 or 60 even with my monitor set to 165hz

how's GPU and CPU utilization and Temps during gaming? is only Fortnite underperforming for a 30series GPU or other games too?

Gpu barely used, cpu kinda tho low temps in the 50s and no wz too

I have the corsair 1000 Watts One, i think that is enough right? Dont know how to check and dont have the device that you put between ur PSU and the Outlet.

no need, 1000W sounds enough, especially if it's the RM model, or if it's not too old

 

is the GPU new/second-hand bought, and did the fps drops started happening from the start, or suddenly, or after some change in the PC?

Its my dads old card, and yes it was that bad since the start.

maybe make a new post, that you have low fps and low gpu usage, and include details like the GPU worked fine but as soon as you got it you got performance issues full specs and all the things you tried to fixing it like re-installing probably (if you did)
