Depends if the RAM is upgradable. If yes, it's probably not expensive to go to 16 GB on the 11th gen. If not, go for 16 GB 10th gen.

Both ram is soldered, but offered a choice on two laptops with configs,so not really an option of upgrading.

Why not just link both laptops so we can make an educated decision?

For just regular web browsing, the difference between a 10th gen versus 11th gen Core i5 isn't noticeable. But the difference between 16GB and 8GB of RAM would be. For blender, the RAM is even more so.

Something to keep in mind is the X13 isn't really for any crazy work like Blender. The cooling is not amazing and they get toasty.
