SSD Not Recognized

MeatyOgre

Greetings. This is my first time building a PC and I had everything running perfectly until I saw in the BIOS that there were no SSDs recognized under the M.2 category. I checked to see if my SSD was properly in and it seems that it is. Is there a solution to this problem?

Here are my specs:

MOBO: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite AX

SSD: Solidigm P41 Plus 1TB SSD, PCIe Gen 4 NVME 4.0 x 4 M.2

I highly doubt a new motherboard would come with a setting to prevent an NVMe SSD from working right away.

You can try resetting your BIOS setting to factory or installing the SSD on the second connector that's under that one.

If you still don't get any signal, it's highly probable that your SSD came faulty from factory.

Qoute my reply if you want me to answer back.
