ASUS Motherboard + 6 RGB Fans Help

JackG4

Hi all,

I'm using the ASUS TUF B550 which has 5 x PWM fan headers, 2 ARGB headers and 2 RGB headers https://www.asus.com/uk/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-b550-plus-wifi-ii/

If I want to buy 2 x 3 packs of RGB fans, for example: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-corsair-ar120-rgb-black-7-blade-pwm-hydraulic-bearing-triple-fan-expansion-pack-4-pin?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=feed_clicks&utm_content=surfaces_across_google

What's the best way to connect this all together for fan speed and RGB control? I have Corsair RGB RAM too.

Just wondering if I need to go down the Commander Pro route or if this is achievable via the motherboard and using the ARGB adapter that comes with the fans?

Thanks

the commander pro way =  every argb device needs adapters and spliter and needs to be connected to the commander pro

Kris is in the pink.  😆

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
